Medication Maintenance: New asthma medications can easily be added to a separate data table in desktop database and are uploaded to separate data file on handheld. Thus maintenance is facilitated, as new medications become available.
Flexibility: Stands alone as a DSS but when connected to an existing ambulatory database it becomes documentation (clinic note) and presentation (Rx and education) system as well
